Editorial Policy & Corrections

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Mission

World State Journal publishes news, documentary features and human stories that are accurate, fair and useful to readers.

Standards

  • Accuracy – we verify facts with reliable sources and name them where possible.
  • Attribution – when a story is based on reporting by another outlet, we credit and link to the original source.
  • Honest headlines – headlines and images must accurately reflect the article. We do not use misleading, exaggerated or “clickbait” headlines.
  • Fairness – we seek to represent different sides of a story and give people a chance to respond to serious allegations.
  • Separation of news and opinion – opinion pieces are labelled.
  • Images & video – we use our own media, licensed media, or media used with permission and credit. Edited or illustrative images are labelled.
  • Use of AI tools – we may use AI tools to help with research, translation or drafting. Every article is reviewed and edited by a human before publication, and the editor is responsible for its accuracy.
  • Independence – advertisers and partners have no influence over editorial decisions. Sponsored content is clearly marked.

Corrections policy

When we make a factual error we correct it promptly and add a note at the end of the article explaining what changed and when. To request a correction email noekvannthien98@gmail.com with the article link.
